一、教学分析
(一)课标分析
新课程大力倡导自主探究与合作学习有机整合的学习方式, 这就要求我们教师在平常每节课的教 学中,合理安排,认真组织,做到传授知识与培养能力相结合,以生为本,丰富课堂教育教学内容。 把握新课程标准对阅读与听力教学的要求,挖掘高中英语阅读教学的价值取向,调整阅读教学策略, 重视语篇教学,加强阅读方法指导,开发与新课程标准相适应的的多元化课程资源,倡导合作式和 互动式阅读,注重语言衔接知识与背景知识在阅读理解中的作用,形式灵活的进行素质教育渗透。 而且高中生应形成自己的学习方法,学习策略,并具有不断调整自己的学习方法的能力。教材以帮 助学生形成以能力发展为目的的学习方法为原则,鼓励他们通过体验、实践、讨论、合作、探究等 方式并运用各种学习资源完成学习任务,解决学习中的困难,从而形成自主学习能力。 从本质上看,课程的目标是培养学生的综合运用语言运用的能力。 《高中英语标准》中特别指出, “??高中英语课程就根据高中学生认知特点是和学习发展需要, 在进一步发展学生基本语言运用 能力的同时, 着重提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析和解决问题的能力;逐步培养学生用 英语进行思维和表达的能力。 在今天的信息社会,学生获取信息和处理信息、分析问题和解决问 ” 题是每个公民必须具备的能力,高中阶段应该特别重视对这个能力的培养,使学生能够终身受益, 为他们今后更好的学习和工作打下良好的基础。

(二)教学内容分析
本单元的中心话题是“野生动物保护” 。涉及的内容包括濒临灭绝的野生动物的生存现状;我们 要学会如何保护野生动物,以及要从已经灭绝的动物中吸取哪些经验才识从而促进我们保护野生动 物的意识。 语言运用 using language 部分分为两个部分。第一部分糅合了两种语言技能训练——读与听,也 就是我们本课时所要进行的教学内容。阅读篇章和听力篇章也属于两种截然不同的风格——阅读为 “写实” 听力为“写虚” 这种不落俗套的安排打开了学生的多种感官通道,使他们更加深刻地 , 。 体会到恐龙和渡渡鸟永远退出历史舞台的悲哀和震撼,从而进一步意识到野生动物保护的重要性和

紧迫性。而在下一课时,则在本课时的基础上,采用另两种语言技能训练——说和写让学生讨论如 何采取具体行动保护野生动物,然后以口头报告的形式在班上展示,最后将小组的讨论结果写入向 世界野生动物保护基金会的求助信。在听说读写的语言技能训练中,学生不仅学到语言知识,而且 使学生的综合语言运用能力得到进一步加强。本课时,在词汇、功能与语法方面则比较简单,对学 生阅读与听力不构成很大的障碍。

(三)学生分析
学生现有水平:能听懂课堂指令并对之作出反映;能用简单英语交谈,对野生动物的现状有一定 的了解,对于其保护措施有自己的想法。

二、教前准备:

(2) 让学生重读课文,读前预览每一个句子,再判断句子的正误,并给出理由。 (3) 根据课文内容回答相关的细节及理解性问题。

(4) 讨论:让学生小组讨论恐龙灭绝的原因。首先让学生找出文章当中科学家对于恐龙灭 绝的原因,然后再让学生讨论,并发表自己的观点。

Before listening to the dodo’s story, try to predict in pairs how it might have disappeared (Exercise 2 on Page 30).

Listen to the tape and choose the sentence (Exercise 3 on Page 30) which gives the main idea of the story:

其中有几个问题比较难,学生可能会找不出答 案,可让学生再听一次。真到弄清楚相关的信息为 止。

设计意图:培养学生带问题听的能力。对深层次理解的内容不马虎放过。

6、讨论:我们应该做些什么来保护这些野生动物? 让不同的学生来回答这些问题,学生给出的答案可能不会一样,并且会相互补充,用幻灯片给出 一个总结。学生在发表自己观点的时候,提醒他们注意使用相关的表达观点和意愿的句型。

四、教学后记
根据上课的学生的反应和配合以及所达到的教学效果来, 自已感觉还算是比较成功的一课, 整 节课紧张有序,充实完整,轻松愉快,学生乐于参与表现,各教学环节衔接得当。但是自我感觉也 有做得不足的地方。

教学用语还有待提高,应更加精炼准确有效,争取把更多的时间和机会留给学生去说去练,并且 这样也不到于耽误几分钟的时间。其次,自己的英语发音也有待提高,要在基本功方面不断提高自 己。第三,由于紧张,应该板书到黑板上的一些需要运用到的功能性句型没有展示出来。第四,提 问以及讨论让学生思考的时间还不够充足。 学校备课组长叶老师点评: 本课教学设计思路非常清晰, 设计合理, 教学容量大, 时间安排合理。 但是,该读的地方没出声读,语言点没有让学生去理解。听说读写没有全部兼顾到。 学校课改领导李书记点评:本课教学设计思路清晰,设计合理,教学容量大,本课时是一堂读和 听的课,能力训练符合本课新课改理念要求,着重学生听读能力的培养,着重学习方法的渗透,着 重思想情感的熏陶,渗透,所以,这一堂课算是符合新课改要求的非常成功的一课。
